After the daily routine of our careers started to look more and more like a Dilbert cartoon strip, we decided it was time to get out of the corporate world and do our own thing.
Since we both had hospitality experience, (Jennifer managed fine dining restaurants in Connecticut and Ed has a degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University), we thought an Inn would be the perfect thing to do.
So in March 2004, we moved from Annapolis, Maryland, our home for almost 10 years, to the Three Mountain Inn in Jamaica, Vermont.
Of course - it wasn't that straightforward; we started the search for our new lifestyle in 2003, with different thoughts and ideas;
Jennifer was born and raised in Connecticut and wanted to return to New England. Ed grew up in South Florida, and had no intentions on living in the "North."
We focused our search on a four-season location. So while Jennifer looked in the Northeast, Ed looked in the South. This explains how Southern Vermont became the logical choice.
We fell in love with The Three Mountain Inn and the wonderful village of Jamaica. We knew immediately that this would be our new home.
Our mission is that you will also feel at home here. We invite you to enjoy a warm and comfortable atmosphere, with exceptional food and the finest personal service. Come and experience what Vermont has to offer.
