From our luxurious lodging accommodations to our centuries old building, we strive to make your stay a pleasant and memorable experience. To that end, please review the following policies carefully and feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions or concerns.
Minimum Stay Requirements:
Two night reservations are requested for weekends and peak foliage season, three nights on certain holiday weekends.
All reservations must be secured by a deposit equal to 50% of the reserved stay, with a minimum of one room night.
Due to our intimate size, any cancellations affect us significantly. Consequently, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Should you cancel your stay twenty-one (21) days or more prior to your arrival, we will be happy to hold your deposit for a future stay, or arrange for a refund less a $50.00 credit card processing fee.
Within the 21 days, we do not normally refund, but we will make every effort to re-book the room and in the event that we are successful, we will hold your deposit for a future stay.
Arrival day cancellations, late arrivals, early departures or no shows will be responsible for the entire reserved stay unless we are able to rebook the room.
Check-in is anytime after 2:00 pm. Please let us know if you will be arriving later than 9:00 PM. We'll be happy make arrangements.
Check-out is at 11:00 am.
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover cards.
Holiday, Peak & Seasonal Rates:
During peak periods and holidays add $35.00 per night to the room rate.
Peak Season and Holidays are:
New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Weekend, President's Week, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Columbus Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas Week, and New Year's Eve.
Fall Foliage (Mid September until the end of October)

Gift Certificates and Gift Cards:
Black out dates apply for some Gift Certificates and Gift Cards, therefore we ask that you mention your Gift Certificates or Gift Cards when making your reservation.
Maximum occupancy of two adults per room.
Please note that according to Vermont Law, our Inn is non-smoking. A $300.00 cleaning fee will be assessed.
The inn is not appropriate for children under 12 years of age.
Dogs are allowed in certain rooms by prior arrangement. There is a nightly Pet Accomodation Fee. Please inquire before making a reservation.
The Inn's facilities and guest rooms are for the use of registered guest only.
All rates are subject to Vermont Rooms and Meals tax of 9%; Beer, wine and spirituous beverages have a 10% tax.
Travel Agent Commissions:
Due to our intimate size and the rate structure of our rooms, we do not pay travel agent commissions or booking fees, unless agreed upon in advance by written agreement.
WiFi is available in the guest rooms. In order to maintain the ambiance of our intimate Inn, we kindly ask that you refrain from using any mobile or electronic devices in the common rooms. Cell coverage throughout Vermont is spotty at best. In the Village the only service available is AT&T .
Cancellation policy may be waived if COVID-19 infection or additional government restrictions.
Travelers must review the State of Vermont out-of-state traveler guidelines and travel map and comply with current health and safety requirements for traveling to, from, and within the State of Vermont.
